The films selected for this 37th edition are divided into four thematic sections: some tell stories, while others portray a history, and many address social issues, all while reflecting a wide variety of artistic and cultural perspectives.

Within these sections, 5 films will be selected for the official competition, where the prizes for Best Film, Best Performance and the Special Barrière Prize will be awarded by a renowned jury. Another parallel competition, “Talent of Tomorrow”, accompanied by Ouest-France, highlights the first films of young directors, rewarded by a Jury of 18 to 25 year-olds. Finally, a selection of short films, special screenings and screenings for young cinephiles are also on offer throughout the Festival.
