Aurora est une jeune immigrante portugaise en Écosse travaillant comme préparatrice de commandes dans un immense entrepôt où son temps de travail est strictement chronométré. Au seuil de la pauvreté, elle saisit toutes les occasions qui se présentent pour rester à flot. Coincée entre les murs du centre de distribution et la solitude de sa propre chambre, elle cherche à créer des liens dans un monde où les gens ne se côtoient pas et résiste à l'aliénation et à l'isolement qui menacent son existence.

Aurora is a young Portuguese immigrant in Scotland working as an order picker in a vast warehouse where her time is strictly timed. On the brink of poverty, she seizes every opportunity to keep herself afloat. Caught between the walls of the distribution centre and the solitude of her own room she seeks connection in a world designed to keep people apart and resists the alienation and isolation that threaten her identity.
