Jonah et Lee, deux amis très proches, prennent la route vers la côte nord-est de l'Écosse : Jonah veut y fuir le désastre qu'est devenue sa vie londonienne. Sur place, ils font la connaissance de Charlie, un jeune homme sourd venu rendre visite à son frère jumeau. De l'obscurité qu'ils traversent sur ce rivage sauvage naîtra une amitié qui apprendra à Jonah à oser la vulnérabilité, et à retrouver la joie malgré la perte.
Two best mates, Jonah and Lee, take a trip to the Northeast coast of Scotland, where Jonah hopes he’ll escape the mess he’s making of his life in London. They meet Charlie, a young deaf man visiting his twin brother. Through the darkness that meets them on this wild coast, they form a friendship that ultimately brings Jonah to discover the courage to be vulnerable and that joy can be found despite loss.
