During the festival, the L\u2019ourse media library hosts a series of screenings centred on a major figure from the world of cinema. Actors, directors, producers and other influential personalities who have left their mark on the seventh art are celebrated and honoured through a selection of films, giving audiences the opportunity to rediscover their careers and body of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel and Katie find themselves in no-man\u2019s land caught on the barbed wire of welfare bureaucracy as played out against the rhetoric of \u2018striver and skiver\u2019 in modern day Britain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
