
Well-known and highly regarded for the breadth of her experience in the film industries in both France and the UK, Dominique Green has worked in film production, distribution and exhibition. For 12 years she was the UK and Ireland delegate for the Berlin Film Festival.
She began her film career in UK exhibition, moving into distribution where she became Head of Distribution at Virgin Films whilst creating and programming a small UK based festival which ran for 18 years.
Moving into production she relocated to Paris for twelve years working as Artistic Consultant and Head of Development at TF1 and StudioCanal respectively, during which period she was Production Executive and Executive Producer of fourteen feature films in Europe, the US and Australia; a tutor at The Media Business School in Spain and also lectured at the Paris film school, EICAR.
She returned to London to take up the post of Managing Director of the legendary photographers’ agency Magnum Photos and has continued to work between London and Paris, teaching at the National Film and Television School in the UK and as Consultant to the American Center for Art and Culture in Paris.
